What Happened to all the manuals and the forums?

UPDATE 18:03EDT - It would seem I accidently deleted all the manuals.....

I got tired of bots. No seriously I got tired of 90+% of the traffic to this site being nothing but bots, and most of them BAD BOTS. Lots of spam bots attempting to sign up in the forums to spam, every day I would see dozens of attempted sign ups blocked thanks to stop forum spam, but every day or two one would make it past the spam check and register. Granted none of them ever actually got to spam cause I had email verification turned on (you had to click a link in the email to activate the account, sadly it may also be that the emails are not getting delivered.) and the spammers would fail that but still I had to ban then delete the account.

Then add in the script kiddy bots that would run for an hour or two attempting to explot the mysql db was another problem. I would look at server logs and see where these bots would consume resrouces attempted to explot the place but never getting sucess, but was very annoying to see that every day or every other day so the manuals page is gone. I do still have all the manuals but they are not on the site anymore. If you need a manual email me at callsign at callsign dot com and I will see if I have it and send it to you.

I will eventually start adding them back to the site at some point. But it will take time as I had about 2500+ manuals.

Everything else that was here is still here minus forums and manuals.
