Yaesu FT-891 Manuals
The Yaesu FT-891 is an amateur HF transceiver covering the 160 to 6 meter bands with 100 watts. It features a triple conversion general coverage receiver tuning 30 kHz to 56 MHz. Modes include AM, USB, LSB, CW and FM. DSP technology supports QRM and noise reduction, auto notch and APF audio peak filter. Other features include: attenuator, 4-60 WPM keyer, TCXO, CAT port, auto power off, full break-in, backlit LCD and backlit keys. This radio is easy to operate. The large (1.6”) tuning dial has a torque adjustment. All front panel and top panel keys are placed in logical locations for simple and quick access to frequently needed controls. For example, a multi-function knob allows quick adjustment of the operating frequency in 500kHz steps. The QMB key is useful for Quick Memory Bank storing of 5 priority memories for quick recall. Another three front panel keys may be programmed to the user’s preference.
